Agreeing to these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and JumpDaily LLC, which operates CampFlag. They cover the CampFlag app and campflag.com. By using either, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use CampFlag.

Who can use CampFlag

You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, and able to agree to these terms. CampFlag is not for children under 13. You may only connect a home and devices you own or are allowed to monitor.

What CampFlag does

CampFlag watches your home while you are away. It reads your home devices, writes one daily summary, and alerts you when something looks wrong, such as no heat, a freezing room or a device going offline.

What CampFlag is not

CampFlag is not an emergency service and not a monitored alarm. No one watches your alerts for you, and CampFlag never calls the fire department or police. In an emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number yourself. Alerts depend on your devices, power, internet, phone and third-party services, so an alert can be late or not arrive at all. Don't rely on CampFlag as your only protection for people, pets or property.

Alerts and your contacts

CampFlag sends alerts to you, the account owner, by notification and in the app. You may also add a small list of contacts, such as a neighbor, who CampFlag can message about problems at your home (for example, "No heat at your neighbor's house, 51°F"). You must have each contact's permission before you add them. You control the list and can remove anyone at any time. CampFlag messages contacts only about problems at your home, and any contact can opt out. CampFlag never reads your phone's address book. Contact messages are not an emergency service: in an emergency, call 911.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details safe and tell us if you think someone else is using your account. You are responsible for what happens in your account. Give us accurate information and keep it up to date.

Connected services

CampFlag works with services you choose to connect, such as Google (Nest and Google Home), Apple Home and device makers. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, and we don't control them. They can change or stop working, and when they do, parts of CampFlag may stop working too. You can disconnect a service at any time. How we handle data from these services is in our privacy policy.

Fair use

Don't use CampFlag to watch people without their knowledge or consent, or in any way that breaks the law. Don't try to break into, overload, copy or reverse engineer CampFlag, and don't use it to harm others.

Our content

CampFlag, its name, logo, app and website belong to JumpDaily LLC. We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the app while you follow these terms. Your home data stays yours; see the privacy policy.

No guarantees

CampFlag is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will catch every problem in your home.

Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, JumpDaily LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for damage to your home or property that CampFlag did not detect or report in time. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for CampFlag in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

Ending use

You can stop using CampFlag and delete your account at any time in the app. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as the limits on liability, still apply after your account ends.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will tell you in the app before a change that matters takes effect. If you keep using CampFlag after that, you accept the new terms.
